The Mezuzah brings blessing and protection to your home, workplace and community. If you are Jewish and live/work in Aspen Hill and Flower Valley and don’t yet have a mezuzah, The Aspen Hill & Flower Valley Mezuzah Project would like to gift one to you.
Our goal: to help ensure that every Jewish home in Aspen Hill and Flower Valley has a Mezuzah!
That's right! We'll come to you, and install a mezuzah on your front door; free of charge. All you have to do is fill out the form below and we will take care of the rest.
If you already have one, we can check to make sure that it’s kosher; if it’s not, we will offer a free replacement.
Yes, I'd like my FREE mezuzah!
About the Mezuzah
Me-zu-zah: a parchment scroll on which the Shema is handwritten by an expert scribe.
A mezuzah mounted on the right side of the doorpost designates the home as Jewish, reminding us of G‑d and our heritage. It is also a symbol of G‑d's watchful care over the home. The placing of a mezuzah on the doors of a home or office protects the inhabitants whether they are inside or outside.
If you're excited about this campaign and would like to get more involved by either volunteering or sponsoring a Mezuzah, please reach out to Rabbi Raskin at info@jewishaspenhill.com or 240.444.3345.
